Ummm... I know the doors are shaped differently between 2 and 4 door. Your best bet would be to take a setsquare and ruler and check the angle of each door (try the local carpark tongue ) at the front. As I see it, the major problem will be if the black cover plate between door and mirror is a different shape or size.

I know that putting electric mirrors onto my '88 GL was a hassle even though the donor was a '90 GL. ('88-89 was a 1500 twin carb with PS, Electric windows, AC while the '90-91 had all of these plus a 1600 EFi, power mirrors and updated interior exterior - we didn't get options on the Civic).

The problems I had were mostly wiring (I forgot to get the switch for one and had to go back for it tongue ) although everything else was reasonably easy after a few snips at the mounting points.

Good luck - if in doubt, why not try an import wrecker for the bits - get them to track them down specifically? Then you know that they'll be the right parts smile

    Cheers

The side mirror on a 4 door civic will fit on a hatch back.

I did that to my civic ..but the mirrow look slightly different but you won't really know how to tell the difference.
